If I could give one word to describe the comeback of a country queen I’d have to say PHENOMENAL. Shania Twain rocked the stage at Bon Secours Wellness Center in Greenville, SC. After a long hiatus from performing, her decision to return to the stage was definitely one of my favorite highlights of the year. Guess what guys? This country queen still has it.
The country queen used various pyrotechnics during big moments in the show as well as different mechanisms that elevated her into the air and around the venue. She performed her biggest hits to date, which included:
“Rock This Country!” (Opening Number)
“Honey, I’m Home”
“You Win My Love”
“Whose Bed Have Your Boots Been Under?”
“I Ain’t No Quitter”
“Love Gets Me Every Time”
“Don’t Be Stupid (You Know I Love You)”
“Any Man Of Mine” (Carted around the venue where she recorded some of the show via GoPro)
“I’m Gonna Getcha Good”
“Come On Over”
“Party For Two” (Duo with opener Gavin DeGraw)
“Up!” (Performed on a platform that projected her up above and around the crowd)
“Today Is Your Day” (Acoustic)
“No One Needs To Know” (Acoustic)
“Your Still The One” (Acoustic, performed after a couple from Poland was brought on stage and got engaged)
“From This Moment On”
“That Don’t Impress Me Much”
“(If Your Not In It For Love) I’m Out Of Here”
“Man! I Feel Like a Woman” (Encore Performance)
Though she previously stated in interviews about her growing skepticism about returning to the stage, Twain’s stage presence was one of a seasoned artist who had never had a break in performing. She’s hotter than ever and her concert was worth every pretty penny paid. If you love an overall amazing performance by an amazing artist, then Twain’s “Rock This Country” Tour is a must see in 2015.
